School sees the growth.

THE 12TH MAN · SCHOOL RECOGNITION & ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP
Recognizing effort. Character. Growth. Leadership.
A BRIDGE TO OWN THE SKY
The same habits matter at home, at school, and on the field.
The 12th Man gives schools a simple way to recognize academic effort, improvement, positive engagement, empathy, resilience, and leadership. Red Oak connects that growth to a meaningful moment within the Sunday sports experience.
The model works alongside a school’s existing recognition standards, with a designated liaison and a brief nomination. It is designed to keep the process simple and avoid new classroom instruction or software requirements.
School partnership rollout in development. Participating schools, nomination arrangements, and recognition dates are confirmed directly with the academy.

A school liaison identifies positive effort, character, improvement, or contribution using the school’s existing standards.
The academy connects the recognition to Own the Sky and prepares an appropriate Sunday moment.
Positive reinforcement helps young people see their growth across school, home, and sport.
THE PROPOSED WEEKLY RHYTHM
MON–WED
School identifies a student through the week’s recognition criteria.
THURSDAY
A designated liaison shares a brief nomination through the agreed school process.
FRIDAY
Family notification and recognition arrangements are prepared.
SUNDAY
Recognition becomes part of the Red Oak experience, with guardian consent for any public feature.
This describes the proposed operating model. It does not announce an active nomination deadline or confirmed participating school.
EFFORT & IMPROVEMENT
Recognition centers on growth behaviors rather than academic ranking.
School partners can connect these categories to Own the Sky themes such as Built From Within, Team Up Against Bullying, More Than the Score, and Earn Your Wings.
DIGNITY COMES FIRST
Recognition does not automatically mean public exposure. Public use of a student’s name, image, school, or story requires guardian/media consent.
The basic recognition model does not require GPA, transcripts, disciplinary files, or test records. There is no public child profile or academic leaderboard.
Recognition is independent of donations, sponsorship, paid access, and family fundraising.
The public website accepts adult school-partnership inquiries only. Do not submit student details here; school nominations need a separate approved, private process.
